Wednesday 29th December

A less successful day yesterday although it did start with a winner with Priory Park just getting up on the line to our advantage this time (how we'd swap a similar finish to the one that robbed us of a 33/1 winner with Ben Dundee on Monday); advised at 13/2 and winning at 9/2 and for those that followed the staking advice a bit of enhanced placed each way shrapnel with Gealach finishing 6th advised at 20/1 and an SP of 14/1. A placed run from A Great View advised at 12/1 in to 6/1 in the next was the sum total of the rest of the day with no joy at a very muddy Limerick.

For those who are following the Tracker tips at the bottom of the message, some of which would be tips on a normal day of less competitive action, another nice winner with Spyglass Hill at 12/1 SP and a place with the ultra-brave Kemboy placed at 11/1.  More Trackers today at the bottom of the message.

Quite where the Gold Cup betting / market is now after the last few days, who knows?, I think we'd be more in the who cares!! room to be honest as ante post betting on Cheltenham on the back of every race and media hysteria, be it positive or negative, is the quickest way to the mad house.

On to today and we've a selected race at Leopardstown from Sean, one from Kelso from our Northern expert and Robin is back with his analysis and thoughts on a decent Handicap Chase at Newbury.
