Wednesday 31st March

Teenage Dirtbag ran on at his own pace into a runner up spot at 12/1 yesterday, if ever a horse, even an inexperienced one looked like it will need extreme distances it's this one and it is worth tracking for some long distance Summer Jumping I think. Realms of Fire was given a strange ride, left out the back, made very fast progress 4 out and then went out quickly, you'd suspect a more even pace and sensible fractions would have seen it place at the very least.

Simply Lucky had a nice run round, beat a fair few home and would look a horse to Track at the next few Uttoxter Meetings on Good ground, (after the one tomorrow).

Poor options today and small field sizes and nothing at a price jumping off the pages we'll have a day off.

There are a couple of interesting races at FFos LLas for us to attack tomorrow and possibly on the Jumps Card at Clonmel so we'll have a look again then.

Good Friday always used to be a non-racing day, and all the better for it. It's been turned in to an AW Championships Day, I guess the Horse Racing equivalent of the Vanarama League Cup Final South or North. We'll leave it well alone and focus instead on some decent Jump and Flat Cards on Saturday and some decent Jump Cards on Sunday with a few Flat and Jump Meetings too on Easter Monday.

Back tomorrow at around 8.30am
