Ayr 2.15

Ayr 2.15 3 Goninodaethat @ 10/1 / 10 SS Vega @ 15/2 - 1/2 point each way both horses

A distinct trend towards middle to high drawn horses on the straight track yesterday and no
discernable Going changes and the always dangerous Jim Goldie, leads to the 2 selections here; GONINODAETHAT
is a standing dish in these parts when he is well handicapped and drawn and off a mark of 60 less a 7lbs claim;
he is below the mark of 57 he won off here on the 24th May, which was slightly above his usual level of form;
the mark today gives him every chance. In the race he won he narrowly beat stable mate SSVega; a younger
and less exposed horse from the Goldie yard and off 47, less a 7lbs claim here, it looks to have an incredibly
lenient mark. The booking of the 2 Claimers catches the eye as I don't think Goldie is the kind of Trainer to
put lads up here just for the sake of it, both horses are incredibly well handicapped by him doing so!
Bunce prefers 5 furlongs, Racquet seems regressive and My Girl Maisie is no value and may need rain;
so the biggest danger may be down in trip Harbour Patrol, but its form is anything but solid.
