Cheltenham 4.20

Work Watcher - Cheltenham 4.20 9 Luccombe Down @ 14/1 / 3 Scotchtown @ 11/1 - both each way

The 4.20 at Cheltenham is a 3 mile Class 2 Handicap Hurdle and you have to assess firstly if
any of these are "over the top" and then look at Course form; Going and Handicap marks. A
pair really catch the eye those being the pair from the Naunton stables of Fergal O'Brien and
Nigel Twiston-Davies. LUCCOMBE DOWN returns after a 5 month break BUT has won off a
longer spell of inactivity in the past, Did not take to Chasing and was put away for the winter;
returns off a nice mark for a yard that seems to have been churning out winners almost on a
daily basis all season and could be a dark horse here. SCOTCHTOWN has run consistently all
winter but needed a break after a poor run last time. It returns freshened up and that's a clue in
itself as they could easily have "scrubbed it off" for the summer in a field, likely this race has been
on the agenda therefore for some time and excellent chance if fresh off this mark.
