Barry Nicholls - Chelmsford City 7.10 6 Hawk Moth at 12/1 (Lad/BV/Sky) - odds to 4th (saver on Hidden Gem if you wish)

Barry sounded me out about Hawk Moth as he is trained by John Spearing who
as you may know trains two of our SP2A Racing Club horses. Having been to
the Yard a few times and chatted to John regularly, I know he always says
that Hawk Moth can win off any mark in the 50's but has a ceiling of 59. He
runs off 57 today, ran well last time, has good Polytrack form and gets a
plum draw in stall 1 with Tom Queally booked. Barry picks it on form and
having chatted to john he thinks it has "every chance". I don't do "inside
information" this is NOT inside information, "got every chance" is as much as
you will get out of John, so we will back it on the form analysis in the
knowledge that off this mark it has "every chance" with a plum draw.
If you fancy a second in the race then Hidden Gem would be a nice saver.
Hot 2 Trot was "bang on" last night so we have to give him another shot
today and he is quietly confident that CAT ROYAL is very well handicapped
at Lingfield at a very juicy 18/1 in places and 16/1 generally, its form and
mark from a decent draw from an in form yard stack up very well.
The other one in the race H2T really likes is Hard Toffee and at 6/1
a nice each way saver.
