Barry Nicholls - Galway 2.25 2 Killer Crow - 8/1 each way
At Galway the Gordon Elliott trained Killer Crow catches the eye, especially
at the early 8/1. The form looks basically disappointing BUT has been in far
better races than this, in bigger fields, where you can be a hostage to fortune.
Both recent runs have had an element of bad luck being impeded, after a
sound seasonal return. This is an easier grade with a smaller field, although
still enough to ensure a decent pace and the track will suit and it looks
outstanding value in the context of the race and trainer form.
