Redcar 5.05

Redcar 5.05 5 Chancery - 1 point each way @ 16/1 (generally) (Lads / Coral odds to 4th)

I always think a good horse, even in decline, can find a level it can win off and can still beat
horses who have always been inferior, but who even when in their prime, may not have the class of a veteran who
finally reaches the right mark to win off again. That just about sums up CHANCERY today, and although many have
written it off, look closely at the 2017 form and there are real signs that today could be the day it has been found
the opportunity to win its first race in 2 years. The horse like the Trainer, has had a bit of a frustrating year but
the performances at Doncaster in April over this trip and a mark in the mid 80's and as recently as July at Carlisle
off a mark of 84; both make today's rating of 76, look something of a "gimmie". You have to excuse a few bad runs
since then, but all over trips further than this, which may not be ideal; and with blinkers on today, in stall 1 which
should ensure that the race is run around the horse, as opposed to passing it by, I just feel that the class and mark
cannot be safely ignored, and if it reproduces the form of those 2 mentioned earlier runs, has to have a far better
chance than a price of 16/1 indicates and with Ladbrokes and Coral going odds to 4th, can't be ignored.
