Hexham 4.25

Hexham 4.25 5 Gibbstown - 1/2 point each way @ 7/1

A slog over 3 miles and a few yards in likely Heavy Going and a moderate bunch of Class 5 plodders. Massinis Lady and Sounds Of Italy
head the market, both decent form chances but I don't think either are crying out for deep mud!. Of the rest; Moorstown could be looked
at closely on one recent run, but another not a real mud lover; Hattons Hill is still to fire after being clobbered by the handicapper and a
whopping 26lbs worse off with our main tip, for a run here last year when they finished closely together. The tip is GIBBSTOWN, solid and
reliable in this Class, a Spring horse, had a number of runs but won here off a 2 lbs higher mark a while back after a similar number of
runs since a break; so fatigue is no excuse here. Nelly La Rue may have been flattered by a win here last month in a small field race but
gets 7lbs back for an over zealous rise and will be a danger and the biggest danger, if you want a Forecast/Mention punt would be
PURPLE HARRY; 3rd at Newcastle in Heavy as a juvenile, kept off/not great n heavy since then but all its best form is in the Spring
and one that will be worth tracking after today, whatever the outcome of this race.
