VALUEMAN - Leicester 4.20 2 Tiffin Top @ 6/1 + 7 Gamesters Icon @ 8/1 - 1 point each way each - Odds to 4th Place (generally)

A decent looking 3 year old race over 1mile and 2 furlongs on Good to Soft Going. Ghazan is likely favourite but on seasonal debut may be opposable; I'm A Star is a possible improver but tends to race prominently and  it is a long way up the hill at Leicester to be in front. Robinson Crusoe could improve for the trip but the pair I most like are TIIFIN TOP and GAMESOME ICON. In the 6/1 and 8/1 range respectively and with "odds to 4th" generally, I think  good chance of nice net profit on the race. The Gosden trained Tiffin Top ran OK last time at Nottingham but like many that day "did not let itself fully extend" on the ground. It indicated it liked a bit of cut as a 2 year old, gets it here; ideal trip and any improvement for the season run would see it very strongly fancied. GAMESTERS ICON likes to run at or near the front but is now fully fit, looks ideally suited to the trip and has a nice 10 furlong pedigree; ability to handle cut is a big asset too, and it will be a big disappointment if these 2 don't both place at least and hopefully we have a win and place from them for a juicy profit.
