Aintree 4.40

At first glance this race is a classic "pin job" but a process of elimination found me a couple I am quietly confident about at nice Odds. I think avoiding Cheltenham is the way to go when looking for the winner here so I have looked at but ultimately left out Eamon An Croic and Forest Bihan. I focused on Nicholls and Henderson and will take a pair from each. I think THEINVAL has been aimed at this race since 5pm on the corresponding day last season. He is a Spring horse, flat track and good ground specialist, loves Aintree and ticks every box. From the Nicholls yard comes DIEGO DU CHARMIL he carries the weight but again I think this has been a long term plan and although he has had a decent break should be ready. Of the Irish contingent the one I fear most is Moon Over Germany (in the Tracker from Sean) and I can also understand why Whatswrongwithyou and Cracking find are interesting Trackers too but for me, THEINVAL and DIEGO DU CHARMIL with Whatswrongwithyou in a sporting Tricast Perm
