Carlisle 2.20 2 GATACRE STREET - 1 point each way @ 15/2

 

A couple of enhanced places yesterday from a tip and a tracker delivered a nice each way profit with both horses at decent double figure odds both when advised and at SP.

 

There are just the 2 meetings today over Jumps at Carlisle and AW at Wolverhampton and very little to enthuse over.

 

Michael has looked long and hard at the 3 mile Novice chase at Carlisle and come up with the following suggestions-:

A race where Ballybreen who is seeking a hat-trick of wins and Mymilan are both 3/1 or less and may just now be in the grip of the handicapper as a result. Ballybreen looks progressive but improvement was initially delivered by a change of headgear and you always wonder how long that may continue to work. A big danger could be ASKING FOR ANSWERS and that one may be the answer but it is a sloppy rather than poor jumper and these are tough fences especially round such a tiring and demanding Course.

 

The best each way value therefore may be GATACRE STREET from the Yard of the Englands with Jonathon in the saddle. Looks to be coming along nicely and trip and Going look ideal and looks well handicapped in the contact of the race. Of the remainder the most intriguing one is Trimmers Lane who is a 3 mile P2P winner yet to really fire under Rules but one who could stay on up the hill and outrun Odds. One to track after today (no investment today) and keep a close eye on.
