Michael 2.50 Albert Bartlett
The Albert Bartlett Hurdle is over 3 miles with 20 runners; I was left with a short list of 6 and hard to discount Commander of Fleet who I feel has an excellent chance, Birchdale who the Trainer rates very highly (see Tracker); another Tracker horse in Dickies Diver who could be very well handicapped and Rockpoint who has good collateral form and a big danger. Would be no surprise if those 4 were not very competitive and included the winner but I wanted a pair in the race and have to go with proven form, ability, and toughness that comes from experience. DERINMOSS could still be progressing, proven stamina over further and whilst there could be a lot of traffic up the hill should be staying on as well as anything with a clear run. Another tough horse is LISNAGER OSCAR who will find the drying ground in its favour, it was barely soft yesterday and fairly windy yesterday should dry it nicely, this one is closely marched with Rockpoint, but I feel more of a battler.
