Musselburgh 3.15 Handicap Chase (Edinburgh National) 4 miles 1 Furlong - Class 2 - Soft

 

This is a very tight and flat right handed track and possibly the easiest 4 miles anywhere in the UK and we have to factor in to deliberations.

 

It also won;t favour anything that is long striding and a relentless galloper with its tight turns (some sanded) and quite easy jumps.

 

I think LITTLE BRUCE is the one to beat here, a progressive young horse who is at the peak of form and confidence and I will have a win saver on him. The value each way may be SUMKINDOFKING who looks ideally suited by conditions and gets a nice weight pull for a defeat by Little bruce last time in a race where Brian Boranha looked beaten by the pair when falling at the last.

 

I will leave out the Nicholls horse and Chic Name, fear both but look on the short side price wise.
