PLUMPTON 2.10 SIXTIES IDOL -

There are a few in here coming off long breaks, a few who look like they will never win races and then stock horses like Realt Or and Lee Side Lady, who will run their races, pop up, and basically set the market. Hidden in the midfield of the betting market though is SIXTIES IDOL. A winner at Fontwell and here early in 2018 and won over course and Distance off a mark of 84 last February. Then won at Fontwell off a mark of 90, and was never going to be winning races off marks close to 100, and has now started to reduce handicap mark as a result. A mark of 91 today on better Going is possibly still 3-4 pounds too high. It is a weak race though, Marc Goldstein rides this track better than anyone and on better going, I can visualise a place run and whatever happens today IF it does not win, one to track below a mark of 90 here and at Fontwell in the next few months.
