TAUNTON 5.05 - a few in here caught my eye on a moderate Card. Three are in the Tracker, Mutashabek ran very well for a long way after the best part of 3 years off last time, could "bounce" but the booking of Lorcan Williams for this former 3 mile P2P winner may be worth a small investment. They keep persevering with MR LANDO at 3 miles, faded (not unexpected) last time out, this one could pop up though if given uncontested lead round here, and one I will have in a Tricast and a very small e/w investment. The one i'm most confident about though off its mark today is EDDY - knows how to win, usually needs 3-4 runs to get fully fit, is getting very close to a mark around 90 where it should be seriously competitive (runs off 95 less a 3lbs Claim) and if Mr Lando takes a few with him up front and the pace is genuine, could steal a place at least at decent odds.

 

I also looked at the 16 runner 2.50 race over 2 miles and 3 furlongs (see Tracker). Dollnamix from the in-form Lavelle stable may be the one to beat but not great value. It strikes me that those in the Tracker (Coby Nine - may need further / Iron Horse - may need shorter) / Shillingsworth - may need further and more time and Passing Oceans - may need 22-24 furlongs) are ALL ones to track in to Spring and Summer and will more than pay their way. The one I'd be most interested in today though is AGINCOURT REEF and although not confident enough to have a full tip on it, I will have an e/w bet as back on win mark, and interesting at optimum trip. (Suggest a small e/w double too with EDDY).
