Wincanton 4.25 a Handicap Hurdle over 2 miles and 5 furlongs plus 82 yards.

 

A decent field and lots with chances but i think any rain may just be against a few of these such as Polished Rock and Harbour Force who would otherwise be under stronger consideration. Cap Horner and Dark Episode are a pair i will watch and track very closely on next few runs, only lack of a run puts me off today. Little Vern is similarly one to follow after a wind op and if you take the Lavelle horse DOLLNAMIX as the one to beat and I will have a small win saver as a result then that leaves the horse with what I think is best e/w value in HEAVEY.

 

HEAVEY is fit, has run and won at Perth a not dis-similar track and has good P2P form over further in soft, by a process of elimination I think he is the one furthest forward in fitness who wont mind the rain and has scope to improve at this trip and over further. A real puzzle of a race and one I think could throw up a fair share of future winners hence the advice to track a few onwards.
