Northern - Beverley 4.15 - 1 mile 4 furlongs - Class 6 - 12 run - Handicap - Good to Firm
This is a tight little contest and at the top of the market it's pretty congested.
Clan Jack is up 2lbs for a win and may not be as well suited to Good to Firm as it was to softer conditions last time, Iron Sheriff is in good nick too but upped 2 furlongs and 5lbs poses a question, TERMONATOR is a solid horse on a nice mark and should be competitive if you wanted a win saver / e/w banker, my main niggle in the draw in Stall 10.
Haven Lady is also in form with finishes 1-2-1-3 the mark is a niggle though as is the draw, Masque Of Anarchy is on a nice mark but out of form, We Still Believe shoulders top weight and niggles about stamina, Cusack may be better on the AW and is another on what looks like a high mark. Violette Szabo won this race last year off a mark of 46 but has only had 1 run so far this season and past evidence suggests it may still be way off full effectiveness.
At bigger odds I think that UCCELLO drawn in Stall 1 who looked to be running in to form last time out and who is proven at the trip, on the ground, off a nice mark is too well priced to ignore and also DANDYS ANGEL whose best runs are all on tracks with stiff finishes off marks between 59 and 61 who is upped in trip but raraely stopping at further looks too well handicapped off a mark of 52 to ignore. I've also highlighted something about the rag of the field CALCULUS in the "Exchange suggestions below) as its only ever placed run was at this trip on fibresand.
TRACKER - Uccello / shrapnel - Dandys Angel.
