I am banking on the Going being Good to Soft at least by race time, forecast indicates

that is a real possibility. MINTY JONES has a decent draw, consistent form and runs off a nice mark and

one of the few in form horses in the race with any kind of form on Good or Good to Soft in a field or hoof

rattlers. I would have been very keen on my old favourite See Vermont but for the rain but another one

who could pop up at a very big price is MERCERS ROW. The first 2 runs this year have been desperately

needed, we don't 100% sure know if any ability remains but if he is now fit and 90% of the ability is still

there this is a very nice handicap mark and again compelling form on Good to Soft and Soft so both are

worth 1/2 point each way on that basis.
