Carlisle 4.25

Carlisle 4.25 2 Carrigdhoun - 1 point each way @ 10/1

I am very keen on CARRIGHDOUN . The horse has excellent Course and Course and Distance form over
this trip and slightly shorter, it's wins are on slightly better ground but it can handle heavy Going and after 2 runs will be
cherry rip. It just flattened out over 3 miles here last time before getting a second wind and its Course record is excellent;
a step back up to this trip looks ideal and it is off an effective mark of 123, very competitive. The icing on the cake is that
the yard had a nice winner at Sedgefield yesterday with the same improving jockey. Dangers abound and but for the lack
of a run I would be looking at the likes of Courtown Oscar and Goohar as big dangers, but neither have compelling form
fresh and I will watch and track them as I'm sure both can win before the turn of the year; Shanroe Santos makes a long
trip up here and has to be a danger but may just be better at 3 miles; but would be my second best rated; with the favourite
looking to be too short given a distinct lack of proven stamina, although scope to improve for sure.
