At the top of the market Marshalled is around 2/1, based on promising run last time but probably overbet on basis on what's come out of that race since, I'll take it on.

 

Goulane Jessie is in form but not 100% convinced over this trip and the price is no better than OK. Miracle In Medinah has flattered to deceive a few times for Elliott and then seemingly stagnated back, it will win one of these one day, it's not a safe or sensible betting proposition though until it does. Killiok Ben Rose may just need this run but a handy horse in this Grade and will be winning once the ground improves a bit.

 

Flysini won in January off a mark of 77, off 81 will be suited by conditions but at 13 you'd have to think something is better handicapped and aimed at the race, Ask and Answer is a bit of a cliff horse for me, won off 97, placed off 93 at this kind of trip and in these conditions last January now down to a mark of 98, just about coming in to the range where the mark is very compelling but not quite yet for me and I'll have to take it on the chin if it wins.

 

ENDURING LOVE has won on heavy off 85 and 87, poor recently but does pop up and off a mark of 84 with a handy 7lbs claimer, I will be investing a bit today.

 

The stand out one for me though is LACKEN BRIDGE who was runner up in this last year off 100 and then 4th over same Course and Distance off 102. Will have very much needed recent return and may be being aimed at the next meeting but I'll wager will be fit enough today (and if it doesn't fire today will be tracked for next time); this looks a plan, off 98 with a good local boy who knows the track taking 7lbs off. What's not to like??.
