Curragh 4.50

Curragh 4.50 Handicap 5 furlongs - 18 run with reserves.

I narrowed this down to 7 horses and completely ignoring the market I can't resist a Tracker bet on a couple drawn high. It can be an advantage to be high here on occasions, its not conclusive but often enough happens for me to look closely at a pair in the high end of the draw at big odds.

GLOW WORM has a prominent running style out of stall 19 (remember reserves are allocated stalls in their own right so 21 stalls allocated in an 18 runner race). Can take them along for a very long way here and not out of the question it can't nick the race from the front or hang on for an enhanced place. Similarly in stall 20 is HEE HAW who is fit and runs off a very nice handicap mark. 3rd here off a mark of 65 last May over 6 furlongs, down to a mark of 52 and I'm very intrigued by the booking of Wayne Lordan at the early odds!

For the tips I'll have a punt on BAHLWAN who looked to be running in to some form last time, drawn in 15 here, big chance if breaking on terms and one I think looks solid e/w material. The other one for the tips is SNOW PATCH needed last run, takes a slight drop in Grade here and well handicapped, drawn in Stall 5 so gives me a low draw option too if I've read the draw bias completely wrong.

The other pair to note and dangers are Sunset Nova drawn in 12 unlucky in running last time; Plough Boy solid and drawn low in 2 with some Course and Distance form who may just still need a bit of help from the handicapper, one to keep in the tracker off 65 or lower and All About ivy, an unexposed 3 year old who could frankly be anything.

TIPS - BAHLWAN + SNOW PATCH / TRACKERS - Glow Worm and Hee Haw
