A fairly low Grade but nonetheless competitive race.

 

I've got stamina concerns about the likely favourite Sergeant Lightfoot who is worthy in terms of form at shorter but vulnerable to a genuine stayer off a decent pace on this galloping track. I think Goulane Jessie is better over fences and at 7/2 or close is really no betting value at all. Mister Builder and Arctic Light too are not yet really proven at this trip and at their respective prices I can take them on, although all have clear chances in the context of the race.

 

Happie Days was runner up here on penultimate run and has good chance on that bit of form and Gray Habit is a Course winner at 2 and a half miles who could be a danger but can be a horse who has to be ridden hard and off the bridle and continually stoked up, one that the jockey will certainly earn a fee on!

 

The pair I like, at very nice each way Odds are DEDANANN who I tipped up last time, drying ground will definitely suit better this time and I've no  concerns about the trip or the mark and Danny Mullins rides. It may not yet be quite dried out enough for TRICKEY TRIX but I think the odds and form warrant a punt as it's going to get close to acceptable Going on a dry day and on that basis the horse has an enhanced place squeak at big odds.
