A competitive race but may be not quite as deep as the 20 runner field (plus 3 reserves) suggest.

 

At the head of the market Blackstar Rocco looks a very progressive horse on the last few runs but at a skinny price I want to see if I can beat it.

 

It Could Be You could be a big danger up in trip but together with Quaker Island, who tends to run a bit too freely, I'm not sure that this Course will ideally suit them.

 

YAIZA could be the most likely one at a nice each way price at bigger odds and I wouldn't put you off a small investment.

 

My pair against the field though are CAPTAIN KANGAROO and MACGILONEY.

 

CAPTAIN KANGAROO is another from the Mullins yard. Takes a significant hike in trip and that would be a worry with almost any other Yard but Mullins is a master at this sort of placement and the rain has come at the right time for this one. MACGILONEY is off top weight but well handicapped on Hurdles form ticks all the boxes and looks sure to be very competitive here.
