Haydock 4.10
Haydock 4.10 - The 6 Furlong Handicap at 4.10 has a field of 16 reduced by one already but Bookies should still offer enhanced Odds. The Going here is Heavy but they significantly switch Courses and on this outer track I always favour a higher draw. I think ADMIRALTY will run well, have a win saver if you wish, it has soft ground form but this Going may be worse than soft and therefore i don't feel the price is value. SAVALAS may need better Going but is a horse i like a lot and will track him onwards (see Tracker). LORD OBERON is another with excellent claims and I will have him in a Tricast with the following 2 selections.
CONFESSIONAL is a standing dish here and in mud, he is a Veteran now but can still deliver when conditions suit and with Bookies enhancing to 4th i can see him in the money again from a high draw. COLD STARE loves soft and although more of a 7 furlong specialist the going here and the fact that they could end up strung out like Hurdlers leads me to believe he could be one to really plug on / stay on as opposed to sprinting clear and pick up some nice place money. He has Course form and Distance form and could have been entered with a mud bath in mind by O'Meara.
