Hereford 3.00 PRESENT TIMES - A Class 5 over a trip of 26 Furlongs; not much rain about so "Good to Soft" but that probably means tacky Going. I could give all of them some chance and Gardeners Hill is very well weighted and would be no surprise and I was taken by the return of WishIcould who looked a decent prospect before injury but at the bottom of the market is PRESENT TIMES. Has won and stayed on well enough over just shy of 3 miles in Class 2 and Class 3 races to make me think it could "hunt round" a circuit here and be put in to the race at the business end by Adam Wedge. If they can find the best of the ground and it can conserve energy, has a touch of Class some of these don't and the step up in trip is interesting. Has had a run, this may be a run to put it 100% right fitness wise, but worth a punt on back form in far better company. (After a bit of success yesterday with a winning Tricast - a few quid on a perm covering PRESENT TIMES/GARDENERS HILL and WISHICOULD for no more than a fiver too for a bit of fun).
