Huntingdon 5.45

Huntingdon 5.45 1 Laugharne @ 12/1 / 8 Buckontupence @ 20/1 - both each way

Laugharne is one of the few in this race with proven form at the trip on Good to Firm ground;
he carries notional top weight, but with a 7lbs Claim will actually carry less weight than half the field, he has
had excuses since a win at Taunton, a similarly tight right handed track to here and simply looks over priced.
The one I really fancy though is Buckontupence, I can't believe he is 20/1, now I may be the only one who
thinks that but a look at a run here over Course and Distance is the basis of my logic. He ran eye catchingly
well that day, beaten only by a horse who has won twice since off a mark of 119, our boy today is off a mark
of 103. They add cheek-pieces and he gets a nice 5lbs Claim and his two runs since have been over too short
a trip and at Towcester, where his best form has been at flatter turning tracks. You have to stick your neck
on the line sometimes and can look a chump if this type is tailed off but that bit of form smacks me in the face!
