Kempton Park Tuesday 3rd October

Kempton 8.40 3 Iballisticvin @ 10/1 / 1 Victors Bet @ 28/1 (1/2 point e/w each - Lads/Coral to 4th place)

Kempton 9.10 7 Elusive Cowboy @ 20/1 (1/2 point each way - Lads/Coral to 4th place)

I've grown more and more fond of Kempton as an AW Venue in the past 12 months as they
have adopted a view to have the track a bit deeper (standard to slow) and that has opened up something of a
"golden highway" in my humble opinion in races of 1 mile +; where there is a real opportunity to deliver a horse
down the middle of the track, negating what used to be a massive low draw bias up the far rail from the inner
track cutaway point. I also think that at this time of the Flat/AW cycle there is no substitute for proven AW form;
proven form over the trip and also for Trainers who are hitting form at the end of a long season, and I always
focus on "dual purpose" trainers too, those who will be preparing NH types as well as keeping some Flat horses

on the go right to the end of the Turf and on to the AW.

Gary Moore had a nice winner for us on Sunday and his runner here IBALLISTICVIN looks to be both very well
handicapped and also has all of the Course/Going/Draw and jockey booking to excite me. It is one of those Yards
where my first question is "is it a going day" and I don't think they would want to let this opportunity pass. There are
odds to 4th place with LADBROKES + CORAL and if the horse runs to its merits and uses proven stamina against a
field where many are frankly unproven beyond 10 furlongs, a place is the least I would hope for. In the same context
the top weight VICTORS BET looks too well handicapped to completely ignore and the booking of Megan Nicholls

gives me a bit of added confidence.

In the 9.10 similar logic really, a well handicapped horse, proven over the trip and from an in form yard with a very
good young jockey booked at a nice each way price and therefore ELUSIVE COWBOY is the selection there with
again LADBROKES + CORAL offering odds to 4th place and as you know, when I suggest a Bookie it is purely on
the basis that it looks the best offer as we do not do any deals with any Bookmakers to push you to them.
