Kerry National - Listowel 4.25

Listowel - KERRY NATIONAL 4.25 - 3 miles - 18 run - Good to Yielding

This is a sharp left handed track and one of the easier 3 miles to get if the ground rides Good or better. It can get testing though with any hint of Soft and very few of these have proven 3 mile form.

All eyes will be on Elliott and especially his 3 at the top of the market and whilst Conflated; Farclas and Aramix (not to be confused with Annamix also in here) have good form chances, I'm not convinced of the value at the prices.

At bigger Odds at the rump end of the market, bold runs from Brahma Bull who has some CD form and Snow Falcon, another with CD form would not be a surprise but there were a pair I kept coming back to with stronger credentials I think on the day.

Of the Elliott longer priced horses I do really like THE BIG LENSE who has Course winning form, has won a regional National already in Ireland and who is of interest at a price off a mark of 132.

I also think 3 miles round here could be ideal for the ex Paul Nicholls trained MODUS who has done well so far for Enda Bolger. A bit unlucky when looking well set to run a big race last time at Galway, I think if it can just hunt round the first mile and jump accurately which it has normally done, a big prize at a nice price may be within the scope of the horse.
