Lingfield 2.00 5 Desert Joe 9/1 Lingfield 3.00 4 Top and Drop 6/1 Lingfield 3.30 9 Flugzeug 16/1 £1 each way patent covers 3x e/w singles; 3x e/w doubles; 1x e/w treble - total cost £14.00

There is racing today at Lingfield over the Jumps on Heavy, and AW fodder at Southwell and Wolverhampton.
All of the Tipsters have studied possible races, we cant find anything of note on the AW specifically from
Neil; and whilst we collectively and individually fancy a few at Lingfield, it is low grade stuff and the Going
could be very tacky and very stamina sapping. However, we fancy these enough to have a sensible small
stake Patent, one winner or a couple of places would cover the stake and whilst I would consider a £1
unit stake and £14 a total stake you should not venture beyond, you may decide to stake lower depending

on your pocket and confidence levels.

In the 2.00 the very short priced favourite is Song Saa, easy to understand why but it is one of those
horses whose sum parts in terms of form don't yet match its undoubted potential, a slog in the mud for
it at 6/4 looks a recipe for disaster to me. Heroes or Ghosts is the next logical form pick but again 3/1
looks no value, so we will side with DESERT JOE. A lesser light in a big yard and they must see
something still, purely on form it has solid claims off 111, and probably the most sensible e/w punt

of the day in the context of the poor quality of racing.

The 3.00 sees may be half a dozen nice Novice Chasers and again an obvious favourite in
PETITE POWER; improved last time, won a Point 2 Point in heavy but again 6/4 is no value.
Coole Charmer has been in with some of the very best horses (Thistlecrack no less) but often
you can mis-read that form as the winners are slowing up and the lesser horse plods on
and can be flattered by the pure distances marked down, CC has a chance in this but the value
may be with TOP AND DROP from a family whose Chase form has exceeded Hurdles form,
yards horses seem to love the mud and its hurdle form very much franked by Bobble Boru

in the past 48 hours - could be the most likely improver in the field.

Finally the 3.30, I studied this race for 2 hours myself, what a puzzle, cant find anything
nailed on over the trip in the mud and whilst ACT NOW and ARDEN DENNIS are again
very logical picks, both have recently come back from long lays offs, both have huge
upgrade potential but both unproven at trip and I don't think either will be given a hard race;
so whats' the value?, Burgess Dream has made a career of plodding round small fields
for place money and has won a 3mile point 2 point but FLUGZEUG is a very interesting
16/1 jolly for a couple of reasons. It has won at the trip off this very mark, it prefers spring
ground but when it won at 33/1 at Kempton the trainer said this" the jockey told me they
would go off hard, so I told him to sit at the back, find the best ground he could and just
to pick up beaten horses as they faded" -  similar tactics from the same jockey today
could work a treat and if they do, we won't be as surprised as some other so called
experts.

Those are the selections for today with a very specific staking guide, as they are not
singles tips they will NOT be proofed as singles but lets hope for some fun and a

nice return. We have NH at Catterick and Leicester tomorrow and far better tip prospects.
