Market Rasen 1.00

Market Rasen 1.00 12 Red Danaher @ 8/1 / 8 What a Diva @ 16/1

(1/2 point each way each horse and if you can use SkyBet who enhance place odds to 4th!)

Our Going Stick analysis at Market Rasen indicates that the Going will be unusually soft/heavy, as we always do we identify a couple
of meetings in the last few years where actual readings are most similar to today at the specific Course and we go back and watch the
Racing on that day and look out for visual confirmation and also scour Racing Post analysis for Jockey/Trainer comments; what we are

looking for is things like "it is riding very dead" or "its really tacky"; it takes time but we feel far better than just accepting "soft or heavy".

PLACESPOTTER - A competitive 3 mile Hurdle race on sticky Going (see above); One of Us is the obvious favourite based on an Ascot
win and clearly the one to beat, there is little value in the price though and I feel inclined to take it on. Alfies Choice has yet to convince at
the trip on this type of Going; Bright Tomorrow similarly has not fully convinced in terms of trip/going, particularly on Irish form and I kept
coming back to a short list of 4 horses. RED DANAHER won recently back over hurdles off 96; he is back up to a mark of 102 but that is
well within his past performance limits; I think he will be ridden prominently by Cook, seeking to pull vulnerable stamina out of the others

at the head of the market and with enhanced odds to 4th and the stables running style, hard not to see him placed at least.

Moidore is always a danger here, very well handicapped and a nagging danger, I want it for a Tricast Perm and the other one I really
like the look of and fear in that context is the Pipe runner ITS OBVIOUS; it has 3 mile Point 2 Point form in Yielding conditions and is
finally upped to that kind of trip "it could be anything"; if it was not for one other horse it would be second pick and if you want to throw a
few bob at it; I would not put you off, but if it takes on Red Danaher for the lead the race could fall to a closer and that brings in a proven
stayer in these type of conditions in WHAT A DIVA; out of form so far this season but has won over 3 miles in heavy at Towcester; a
Course and Distance winner here too, very nicely handicapped if on any kind of "going day" best right handed and the 16/1 with odds to
4th just too good to ignore. I would add Moidore and Its Obvious and possibly the favourite to a small Tricast perm.
