Nass + Roscommon - Wednesday 24th June

TRACKERS - Naas 3.00 1 mile Handicap - 18 run (and reserves so assured enhanced place Odds)

A competitive if low grade Handicap and a few catch my eye a couple of which are very big Odds.

I have gone back though to a race at Leopardstown on 9th June where we tipped MUNFALLET who ran well for a long way before fading late on, possibly just needing the run. I marked that down as a good run and a horse to track and the race has thrown up some decent form and winners already so may be a decent benchmark for the Grade.

If I side with MUNFALLET who is again likely to run prominently I can't resist CREST OF A WAVE either who ran in the same race finishing probably best and I like the combination of a prominent runner and a fast finisher here to cover tactical angles, especially given the good form lines of the race and the fact both horses should have benefitted from the run.

There are a couple right down at the bottom of the market who may outrun Odds. There is no real form line to suggest Knock Flyer @ 40/1 is anything but a nag so that makes the jockey booking even more of an eye opener and Karl Thornton is always a canny operator in this grade of Handicap, so Eyeoweyou @ 28-33/1 has the look of a horse who might just be ready to pounce off a reducing mark. Tardy starts have been an issue over further, which makes the drop in trip a bit of an eye opener. If it breaks just with the others a crafty small "in running" bet in the early stages may be a fun bet for big reward!.

TRACKER - MUNFALLET + CREST OF A WAVE - 1/2 point each way both.

At Roscommon tonight the 3 mile Handicap at 7.10 looks a decent race but most of these will surely need and come on for the run. Cooldine Bog is very likely to set a decent pace and can run well for a long way and the value for a small bet may be DORANS RIVER who has Course winning form and form at the trip, won off 122 and 123 and just a few pounds above that and has run very well fresh in the past.

TRACKER - DORANS RIVER - 1/2 point each way
