I was a bit stumped on this one with three horses standing out, the fact that one of them

(Storm Rock) was declared a non runner at 8.15am - has made the decision easy.

Emerald is a potentially well handicapped horse dropped in Grade and the long straight

here will suit it very well. Hit The Jackpot is a rank outsider on the basis of its recent form

BUT it was running well off this kind of mark as recently as April, and has always been

a horse who has run its best races on Spring and Autumn ground and this handicap

mark, really does jump off the page in that context.
