There is some nice enhanced place offers, some value and I think some deadwood in this race.

 

The obvious place to start is BISHOPS QUARTER @ 2/1 to 5/2, trained by Elliott, ridden by Jamie Cood, out of the P2P fields, short price, sure to win!. That's probably the case, but no real value, that lies elsewhere I think, so have a small win saver to cover the 4 point stake I'm going to suggest on 3 other horses.

 

The top end of the market other than the Elliott horse does not really excite me, Ask and Answer may need the run on balance of form, Im Not Alone may have had it's win a few races back and was poor last time. Gold Seal and Sunrise Lady get decent jockey's but Gold Seal has become very disappointing and Sunrise Lady is very one paced and may need further. If either or both of those place or even win, would be no surprise, but I want to be a bit more adventurous and I think there is value to do so.

 

Of the rest DUBAI DEVILS may need this run but is definitely one to track after today and WEST IS BEST is another who will sure improve for the run, but may pick up a small race once fully fit.

 

For my Tip I am siding with TOP QUESTION, it has good 3 mile P2P form so no stamina issues and likely to benefit from a decent pace, it's tried various trips under Rules and this looks about ideal in terms of trip, Going and handicap mark and I'd be disappointed if it didn't place at least.

 

A couple who look over-priced with bits of nice hidden form are PEGASE AMOUR who is also a 3 mile P2P winner, placed on Boxing Day and earlier this year off marks of 100 , indicates ability up North and a similar mark here looks decent enough. I think if it had a "name jockey" at Amateur level it would be half the price. I also think that CRIMSON CHIEF another 3 mile P2P winner, placed off 100 at Kilbeggan and 101  and 101 at Tramore, off 103 here, is another who has slipped under the market radar a bit.

 

I think both of those will finish nearer first than last, so sporting e/w Trackers to enhanced place odds.
