Redcar 4.10

Redcar 4.10 1 Bronze Beau @ 25/1 / 11 Ayresome Angel @ 16/1 (1/2 point e/w - odds to 4th)

The more I looked at this race the more I noticed one imbalance that favoured a specific horse;
it is speculative but one of those you don't want to leave and then regret. The straight Course here favours those
that race prominently and also those drawn low usually. The fact that all of the early pace seems to be drawn high
(likes of Grannie Roz and Jabarokkie) means that the usually fast starting and prominent running BRONZE BEAU
in Stall 3 could get a lovely run away from the action and have a better than obvious chance at 25/1. A veteran
who has had a fine season, will be favoured by drying ground and wins off marks of 60-64-68 mean this mark of
68 is not prohibitive and also a Course and Distance winner in this race before to boot. I looked long and hard
at those drawn high especially Granny Roz but always look at John Mackie runners, as regulars will know and
as we saw with Hallstatt a few weeks back; his horses often pop up at nice odds. So; I will have a bash with
AYRESOME ANGEL, not at best since 2 year old win, slowly coming to hand and when you note that Granny
Roz is about 6/1 and AA is 16/1 and yet Ayresome Angel gets a 4 lbs pull for a 3 length defeat by Granny Roz;
then the form chance from a middle draw looks a lot stronger. Speculative yes, but with odds to 4th generally;
and SkyBet going to 5th, lets have a go with some reduced 1/2 point each way stakes.
