CURRAGH 4.25 - 2 miles on yielding to soft and all of the betting interest and money seems to be on Willie Mullins SAGLAWY very impressive last time out, could sluice home again but definitely win saver material to cover a couple of each way bets.

 

I don't see great depth in the field and neither do I see great value so I am going to split a normal tip stake as 1/2 point each way between the 2 most likely in the conditions to threaten the Mullins horse and with enhanced place Odds seeking a net return on the race.

 

So I will have a reduced punt on ROCK DE BAUNE @ 7/1  who will appreciate the Going, runs off a nice mark and has excellent form on this Going at the trip in early days in France. The other one most likely to bustle up Saglawy is DALTON HIGHWAY @ 10/1 a Course and Distance winner, OK handicap mark and should be fine on the Going. 

 

The staking does not reflect a lack of confidence in those pair running very well, more I think they are running for place money!   

LIMERICK 4.35 Munster National - 3 mIles 16 runners and Soft to Heavy.

 

I narrowed this down to 4 horses. Last years winner Spider Web is clearly fragile, doesn't take too much racing, needs breaks, can run well fresh. That perfectly explains the dilemma and I will oppose it today. Black Scorpion was 3rd in this last year again has outstanding claims has run well in this Going but often at shorter. Gets 3 miles but I'm not 100% convinced gets the 3 miles in this ground. I will perm those pair off with a few Tricast lines with the following 2 tips.

 

INTERNAL TRANSFER has good Course form, is a 3 mile P2P winner will handle conditions and looks very solid each way material. OSCAR KNIGHT is very consistent and has run well in better fields than this and is one of those that deserves a win for consistency. Conditions suit, stamina over further will be a big asset and can see passing horses in final mile and running a place at least and if they go off too fast, could really deliver something deserved at the end.

LIMERICK 3.25 - 3 miles Handicap Hurdle (13 run)

 

I will have a small Tracker bet looking for some each way profit from the race on OWLCREEKBRIDGE and SEEYOUINVINNYS near the head of the market in a race that lacks depth and will track West Coast Time over shorter and after this run.
