PLACESPOTTER - Sedgefield 11.50 Handicap Hurdle Class 5 2 miles 4 furlongs Soft

 

I think there is some value lower down the market here and a couple stand out at nice Odds.

 

AFFAIRE D'HONEUR has run well before in soft/heavy Going the trip is fine and the horse needed 2 recent runs over 2 miles (which is too short a trip now) that will see the horse now spot on fitness wise. The mark is a fraction of what it once was, down below 100 and although regressive, this is not a strong field and I think the horse could easily outrun big odds.

 

EXCALIBUR is a Course and Distance winner who prefers cut in the Ground and some nice form in Heavy Going and I think a strong e/w chance of a win or a place at least.
