Elliott runs 3 here and whilst i will have a win saver on THUNDER DOWN UNDER, I actually think stable mate CHERIF DE L'ISLE is the better option at slightly better odds. Has proven form over the trip and in the mud and some Course form and the one I will have my main each way money on.

 

Beating the Odds has a 3 mile P2P background but not quite confident enough in that one at the Odds today; Flooring Partner is up 13 lbs for a win at Cork in October, struggled with that next time and has to conclusively prove it handles genuine winter Going, a danger if it does. Miracle In Medinah is the third Elliott challenger but I am not sure about this trip for this horse but another who would be a live danger if benefiting for it.

 

The other one I really like "at a price" and confident enough to tip (as opposed to smaller bet) is RUSSIAN BILL. Noel Meades horse ticks all the right boxes as plenty of proven form at the trip and in heavy Going and has placed a few times round here. Likely to be staying on longer than most and with some enhanced place Odds even if one comes out then a nice sporting e/w chance.

I have enough doubts about the 2 market leaders to swerve them and not have a win saver. Final List was lame after last run and Uaintseenothinyet has yet to conclusively prove stamina in likely desperate conditions. I will take it on the chin if either win.

 

Persian Wind is up 7lbs for a game win at Fairyhouse and a big danger but i prefer CASTAFIORE PARK who has some nice 3 mile P2P form and Rules form at this trip, likes heavy Going and looks a solid each way tip.

 

For a tracker bet I will have a punt on SCHOOL LANE who is proven at 3 miles, likes the mud, regularly runs solid races and places and one that you just think really deserves a win and has a sporting chance of doing that here.
