A competitive 2 mile handicap at 2.20 and a few from big yards, I think though that WESTERERS

SON can have them all at it and could get away with this from the front, a horse with a touch of class who will appreciate

conditions and who is on a very nice Hurdles mark. ICARIO may be the Gordon Elliot second string but when he sticks

a Claimer on, and a decent one, it rings more than a few bells for me. The horse is solid and consistent in this grade

and ticks all the boxes in terms of Going, Course and Distance and indeed has a bit of proven ability beyond 2 miles and

one who could arrive late on the scene if Westerners Son gets them all at it or gets the pace a bit wrong up front. There
