Uttoxeter 7.00 4 Nemean Lion + 5 Samson @ 7/1 (both) - 1 point each way - SkyBet odds to 4th place

The obvious favourite in most NH races these days seems to be a Dan Skelton runner; Premier King in no exception but does not look great value, and I have a couple in the Tracker, who have delivered some e/w shrapnel for us and seem to be progressing towards very nice handicap marks and win opportunities. This is a Novice Chase and as such we take more of a chance on NEMEAN LION who makes Chase debut. There is no P2P form, but indications more than once from the Trainer that the horse would make a decent Trainer. This trip looks ideal, and we can't ignore it after a placed run when tipped last time. SAMSON has more Chase experience and more range in terms of trip and Course form. It is a classic "summer horse" drops in trip here after running very well to this point and for a long way recently over further; and both would look to have very strong place claims with SKYBET going odds to 4th place.
