Fox Vardy is clearly the one to beat but at very short odds for a race of this type.

 

Gabriel The One has the right form credentials but to say it's a Chester specialist is putting it mildly and may be one they have lined up for something back there. Sandret is wholly unexposed but not quite sure about the underfoot conditions or Course being right for it.

 

A couple I like at decent Odds are DARK LOCHNAGAR trained by Keith Dalgleish and MUTAMADED trained by Ruth Carr.

 

DARK LOCHNAGAR is a proven 12 furlongs horse with stamina for further. has nice form too on soft and heavy Going, likely to be staying on all the way home here and fit and runs off a very nice mark.

 

MUTAMADED is far more exposed than some but Ruth Carr has her horses running in to form as we said earlier in the week. A nice handicap mark, had a run which stable horses usually need, runner up over Course and Distance on Good to soft off this kind of handicap mark and has won too on soft.
