Monday 21st May

Carlisle 5.15 9 Relight My Fire - 1/4 point each way @ 8/1
Redcar 5.35 6 Fastalong - 1/4 point each way @ 12-16/1 (early odds)
Leicester 8.00 6 Railport Dolly - 1/4 point each way @ 14/1 (all Bookies odds to 4th and SkyBet to 5th)*

(*see mention notes on 8.00 at Leicester for small Tricast Perm).

In the Carlisle race above the other one with decent form in Grade, at trip and Going is RELIGHT MY FIRE; deemed a Beverley specialist

it has also run well at Carlisle which is a similar configuration but steeper hill and at around 8/1 worth a small mention punt in support of the tip.

The 8.00 at Leicester has 17 unexposed runners, 7 furlong Class 5 Maiden; the market is skewed to "big Newmarket types" but who have little
form, with all Bookies offering odds to 4th and Sky to 5th, I like the fact that RAILPORT DOLLY has had a run, this is a deceptively tough 7 furlongs
and stepping down in trip wont hurt RD; and a truly run race will suit it. It has a nice central draw and at 14/1 looks good value with the odds to 4th
as the Yard will have the horse tight and fit and possibly see this as a good winning chance before some of those with more long term potential

get fully up to speed. There were a few others I liked at long odds so may be also play Mrs Benson / Novodowa and Asheena is a Tricast Perm.

(A newer member asked the other day quite understandably; if we ever got a Tricast Perm up, we have as many will remember a 1234 in the
Irish National got a £6600 Tricast and Colin the Member who put us on to this bet which costs just a few quid has had 7 wins of over £1000 in 12
months and is around £5,000 up NET PROFT to £2 stakes on races where we mention a Tricast Perm. Colin is sending me some data which I
will share as it does seem to be a "Golden Goose" which lays enough golden eggs to be worthy of consideration and I am proofing another

angle to the Tricast suggestions which I will share with you tomorrow)

Back to the final Mentions for today and at Redcar is the 5.35 Tim Easterby runs 3 horses and a few come from down South, Ed Dunlops
Sageness could be anything; So Near So Farhh is likely to improve for the step up in trip and is a danger but the one who caught my eye

was FASTALONG which has a solid 10 furlong pedigree, some interesting 2 year old from that suggests ability and a nice 12-16 each way.

I did look at CREEL in the 5.05 race at Redcar as a possible each way angle but at 6-7/1 not enough value to take on 2 shorter priced horses.
So 1 tip and 3 mentions above and also a suggested TRICAST Perm at Leicester in the 8.00 in italics.
