RIPON 4.00 2 REBEL ASSAULT @ 13/2 (WH + Lads)

RIPON 5.00 9 DAPPER MAN @ 10/1 (WH + Lads) + 5 ORIENTAL SPLENDOUR @ 18/1 (B365 + SkyBet)

1/4 point each way each horse - prices validated at 8.15am

In the 4.00 at Ripon the one who most stands out is REBEL ASSAULT. It is quite highly entered and well thought of; it runs off a nice mark;
is fit and will have no problem with the Going and a decent price when you consider that Magical Dreamer may need the run, Queen In

Waiting is best at 5 furlongs; and that the likes of Silver Starlight and Penny Pot Lane may find this Going a bit too firm.

In the 5.00 at Ripon you could make claims and counter claims for all of them. Pear Noir and Gamesome are well handicapped (when are
they not); recent form indicates they can battle it out with King Crimson but these races are anything but "logical". I like the value offered by
DAPPER MAN a change of headgear, been running well and around the ideal handicap mark and could take advantage if the front runners
take each other on and also ORIENTAL SPLENDOUR, like Lexington Times, a seemingly out of form Ruth Carr runner lurking off a very nice
handicap mark; usually very competitive around marks in mid 60's, had runs to get fit, and runs off 65 less a decent Claimers Claim, just the
sort of profile we are looking for with big priced mentions.
