Sunday 29th April

Good Morning

We are I suppose; lucky to be racing at Salisbury at all; given the alleged nerve / substance attack, no doubt The Skripals hadn't
decided to have a walk around the RaceCourse over the infamous weekend as it has not been cordoned off with blue and white tape;
maybe they would like to visit later in the summer; and have a race named after them? Being serious, thankfully it seems that none
of the residents of Salisbury (aside form one Policeman who is now fine we are assured); was hurt or damaged in the incident and
for that, we should all be very grateful, and hopefully the area will quickly return to normal life including the Race Course.

The Going today is Heavy and that opens up options in terms of proven form on The Going and race fitness. In the 2.30 I was keen on
PACK IT IN who had a short lived Hurdles campaign (can't jump it seems); BORN TO PLEASE ( who has run well at Ffos Llas and
may have strengthened up over the winter) and BERKELEY VALE (won at this trip on soft 7 lbs lower than its win mark and can go
well when fresh. I think the race fitness from AW of PACK IT IN may be worth a small mention poke and the others make a nice small

Tricast Perm as they stand out as the most likely to appreciate the conditions today.

In the 4.15 race it looks likely that MOABIT will be favourite  on merit, a couple of nice types come out from bigger Flat yards with any

amount of scope but CHAMPAGNE CHAMP comes here fit and well; proven in Conditions and might be the each way place value.
