We have already referred to HALLSTATT in the 3.15 at Nottingham with the 9/1 looking good each way value if you go to 4th place with SKYBET. At Nottingham in the 4.20 I can't leave out a horse I got to know very well WHITECREST; a bit like Sexy Secret yesterday, one for the heart and in terms of form "the head". Met this lovely horse a few times when visiting the Yard to see other horses we had a share in, John Spearing is as nice a man as you'll ever meet, the horse had a great spell last year winning off marks in mid 60's and up to 70 and after a re-adjustment is back around a mark below 60 from which it can use Course and Distance form to great effect. (I cant resist a little T/Cast dabble here either by adding First Excel; Eponina and Cupids Arrow).

Having identified to old favourites in Hallstatt and Whitecrest; I can't ignore the claims of another old favourite CONFESSIONAL in the 6.55 at Haydock, time may be finally be catching up with this fantastic servant, but the Good to Firm will suit, a high draw is a bit less important on this Inner Course than on the outer one but nonetheless an asset, and if its is to be "veterans day" one I will have a small bet on.
