Wetherby 3.40

Mentions -: Beverley 3.40 10 Hitman @ 20/1  / 16 Chiswick Bey  @ 25/1 (1/4 point each way)
(all bookies go 1-4 there are 16 runners but a few will almost certainly go 1-4 IF any non runners look at Sky / Lads / Coral for enhancements)

This is moderate grade but competitive. There are a number of Course specialists here like Relight My Fire (usually needs a run or two);
Talent Scout (usually needs at least 2 runs and drawn wide) and Make On Madam (nice mark, likes Good To Firm, yard not quite firing yet)
who will be big dangers. Vincenzo Coccotti is an interesting one, comes a fair way to compete here but just a hunch the final 100 yards will
just expose a stamina chink and the darkest of dark horses is Warriors Spirit, considered a Group horse in September 2016, simply may
never of "trained on" from 2 to 3, and woeful on debut for David O'Meara, one to watch VERY CLOSELY for any glimmers of that latent

potential, and I will have a few bob just in case it is today.

There are a coupe of older horses I'd like to give strong mentions to -: CHISWICK BEY was placed here twice off marks of 68 and 70 in
August last year; won off 71 in July of last year. Fit and off a nice mark of 56. I think the fact it has left Richard Fahey to join Jacqueline
Coward has somewhat impacted on the Bookmakers thinking, let's not forget that Jacqueline Coward is full of EASTERBY genes and DNA
so undoubtedly knows here stuff!. The other one at a nice price from an in-form yard is HITMAN; some think its better on a straight
track, but this is not exactly a tight turning run to the line, decent long run up the hill off the turn and I think 20/1 is excessive.
