ROBIN - Beverley 3.45 Class 4 - 1 mile 2 furlongs.
There are a few in here who have had a run already and from some of the "bigger" Northern Yards and I have a hunch this race could throw up some nice strong form lines in the weeks to come in this type of interim Class 4 grade.
I shot listed 5 and will leave out NORTHERN LYTE on the basis of a high draw in Stall 14 and also a handicap mark of 70 which seems rather high. This is a horse though perfectly capable of winning as handicap mark reduces, so I would consider putting in your long term Tracker for Good or Good to Firm off a mark of 65 or below in Class 4 company.
It was hard to split ALYA, DELPH CRESCENT and EL PICADOR.
El Picador from the Dalgleish yard is drawn 6, has won off a mark of 70, runner up off a mark of 76, runs off 74 today. Just overlooked for a Tip or Tracker today, very much feared and most definitely on to follow in this Grade. ALYA is similarly one to watch very closely and may still have some progression as quite lightly raced for a 5 year old. A classic Tim Easterby purchase. I will definitely be watching this one closely today and on next 3 runs and just hope I've got the timing right in waiting for the next run.
The TRACKER tip therefore is DELPH CRESCENT , I think a little more value at the Odds than the other pair, A Course winner and a Distance winner, Won on Good to Firm, off a nice mark, had a run which was needed and a sporting e/w Tracker.
The TIP is the race fit and likely really rock hard ready exposed but well drawn and incredibly well handicapped on turf form of 2018 MICHELE STROGOFF. Has been running predominantly in AW Racing of late but was running off much higher turf marks on this kind of ground in 2018 and likely to be the fittest here today.
TIP - Michele Strogoff ; TRACKER - Delph Crescent (if either ar n/r then Alya would be preferred replacement option to El Picador).
