Exeter 3.50

Exeter 3.50 The trip of 3 miles and 6 furlongs and Good to Soft rules out just about everything if you are looking for proven form at trip in conditions. Of those unexposed at the trip it would be no surprise to see ONE OF US or SANDHURST LAD win, neither would be a surprise, but both will be in to unknown stamina territory as they round the bend in to that daunting up hill climb. Bertie Boru and The Happy Chappy could also run very well although both need "stoking up" a bit and may struggle off a likely generous pace and only the Going puts me off Kilkullen Flem.

The selections though are DANCING SHADOW who loves the trip, runs prominently and could expose stamina flaws in main rivals IF getting the fractions right and is on a nice mark and the bit of rain they've had should just take the sting out enough for the horse. If he runs prominently for a long way and just fades, the one most likely to benefit is YOU SAY WHAT who needs rain too but has good course form, OK on Good to Soft and on form of a runner up race here to Yanmere in December 2017, looks very well treated off a mark of 121.
