Ffos Llas 3.28

FFOS LLAS 3.28 Handicap Chase - Class 5 - 3 miles - Heavy - 15 run

This is going to be very attritional and need a strong horse to plough on and feel the pain.

Mount Oliver has form in these conditions but will surely need this run and may be a few after it, The Dawn Man has had seasonal debut, went well for a long way, will no doubt come on for it, but may still need another run and slightly easier conditions.

Game Line for the Bowens has to be feared given connections but needs to prove stamina in this Going conclusively. Misty Mai pops up here to win or place in these conditions but a win in the Autumn blew the mark a bit and I see it as a danger but opposable.Dan Herbenger and Sandford Castle just don't appeal to me in terms of price, frankly I want 5/1 or more just to jump round and finish and I don't think conditions and the Course ideally suit either anyway.

BALLYREEN flew up the handicap with a succession of wins off 76, 80, 88 and 93, struggled a bit to just adjust to that but has had 2 runs to get fit, suited by trip and Going and off a real mark of 91 with the Claim is on a mark it has won off and that fitness will help. Christian Williams is really progressing taking long distance Chasers and improving them and untapping potential and NEWLANDS CROSS who has decent 3 mile P2P form on Heavy looks typical of the type he is finding the key to success with, so can;t resist a small punt.

TIP - BALLYBREEN - Tracker - Newlands Cross.
