This 7 furlongs takes a bit of getting so race fitness and some proven stamina are a big plus for me.

 

At the head of the market Luna Magic will be the one to beat but the trip is on the short side and it may just need the run although it has won fresh before. At the price if you want a win saver feel free but I think there are better options.  Pope Gregory is better on the AW and they leave headgear off today and Star Of Valour may also need the run but would have been a pick with a run already under it's belt.

 

The one at the top end of the market i most like and a decent e/w price is FIELDSMAN who ticks all the boxes in terms of fitness, trip and handicap mark and one of the more proven jockeys too.  Mountain Ash should come on for the run but at bigger prices a couple caught my eye.

 

JOLIS LEGACY is AW fit, a Distance winner and off a very nice mark based on a few decent Turf rins off higher marks, INNER CIRCLE has also had AW runs, its back on it's last turf winning mark, has a liking for Chepstow so we'll track that specific bit of knowledge, and the Going is fine, no reason at all why it shouldn't be very competitive here today.
