Sandown Masters Chase Class 2 - 3 miles and 37 yards

 

A nice race and some old favourites and I narrowed down to a short list of 3 with the soft Going likely to be on the "tacky" side.

 

CLASSIC BEN has been very well backed and put up overnight by some of those services that can be followed off a cliff but on this occasion I think confidence is justified. Can't leave out of calculations therefore a win saver to cover a more speculative each way bet.

 

AS DE MEE seems to have been around a longer time than the age dictates. They try cheek-pieces just to focus the horse a tactic that the yard seem to normally get right and this Course winner is very nicely weighted and likely to have been targeted at the race and a strong each way chance.

 

The perennial bridesmaid Ami Desbois would be a hugely popular winner and gets a Tracket tip and punt and also part of a Tricast Perm on the race.
